Book the Community Room

The Community Room is rentable on an hourly basis and is bookable using our online system below.

  • Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.
  • You can book the room up to a year in advance.
  • The room has level access through the Tea Room and its own access through Bifold doors at the front of the building.
  • We have fully accessible toilet facilities including a Changing Places Toilet.

What are the charges for the room?

£15.00 per hour. (The time booked must be inclusive of set up and take down time)

*** Local schools can use the community room, free of charge on Friday mornings 0900-1200pm for associated educational activities. This must be booked through FOVPS staff – please email  ***

How many can fit into the room?

The maximum that can fit comfortably in the community room is 30 adults.

What is included in the booking?

Use of the room including tables and chairs.

Is catering available?

We operate a Community Café next door to the Community Room, which, when fully operational will be open from 8am to 9.30pm, whereby you can order drinks and food and can consume them in the community room. See The Tea Room pages for up to date hours and menus.

Can I order catering into the community room?  

We can offer a basic refreshments package for meetings, which will include: tea, coffees, squash or water and a biscuit. Or for special occasions we are able to provide party cakes and full catering packages. For more information, please email your enquiry to, or alternatively add details on your booking form. Our Café manager will call to discuss your needs and will provide a full quote.

Can I hire other additional services?

If you require additional equipment for example a presentation laptop and projector, this is hireable at a £15.00 per day. You will need to contact us at to discuss your needs.
