Having to build throughout Covid has added extra challenges to the new Community Building project. Increased costs due to product scarcity and increased timescales means that we had to use all our contingency budget and we are now short approximately £20k to finish the building, including fixtures and fittings, and enable us to open our doors and welcome you all in.
We have set a Crowdfunding target of £15,000 and have applied for funding to match fund 50% of what we raise which should bring us to the total we need.

We were due to be up and running in July 2020 opening with Picnic In The Park – this of course didn’t happen due to Coronavirus, but The Tea Room café is aiming to open by the end of January 2021 with a takeaway menu.
We CANNOT WAIT until we can open our doors completely, once we return to Tier 2.
