We have a wide range of groups and classes in the park, something for everyone.
- Activities: Gardening for Health every Wednesday 9am-12pm, they’ll be out and about in the park, so stop by to say hello and join in. Shedders meet every Tuesday, email shedders@fovps.org.uk if you are interested in getting involved. Fancy a gentle stroll, then FreshAir Fridays guided walk starts outside the community building Fridays at 11am
- Family Activities: Sunday mornign volunteer sessions. Come and litter pick, weed and generally keep our building, park and playgrounds clean and safe.
- Wellbeing & Mindfulness: We have created a series of walks around the park increasing in length for anyone looking to get back to fitness. Fresh Air Fridays is a guided session, we also have leaflets available for use at anytime. Our new podcast takes you on a Mindfulness walk around the park, you will need access to a smart phone. The MileShy club are also organising a series of health walks, 11.30 on Tuesdays £2 per session and Monday nights from 6.30.
- External providers: Several groups are running their services from our Community Room, please check the posters on our Community Building for details, as they vary from week to week. Our regular sessions are Chair Pilates on Monday pragma.pilates@gmail.com Rhythm & rhyme baby session on Tuesday , Tai Chi on Wednesday.
