This month we have 2 new fun ways to get involved with FOVPS and raise funds for our future programmes.
Mile a Day in May
Join the challenge, get fitter, and raise some funds for the park:
- Sign up on the Challenge Hound host website
- The £10.00 entry fee is donated to FOVPS at the end of the month
- You can log activities manually into Challenge Hound or you can connect an existing fitness App to automatically sync with the challenge. Challenge Hound currently supports Under Armour Map My Run/Walk, Garmin & Strava.
- Visit Challenge Hound to view your personal challenge dashboard, as well as the full challenge leader boards and charts.
Everyone who completes the challenge will get a 2023 FOVPS May Mile March medal after the challenge has been completed.
Virtual Balloon Race
Buy a balloon, name it and then watch it race across the world!
All the fun but without any plastic ending up in the environment.
- Buy your balloon for a £3.00 donation, choose your colour, add a message and you’re entered into our race. https://www.balloonrace.net/FOVPS
- The race starts on 14th May at 6pm when all the balloons will be released.
- Track your balloon online over the week, will you be a winner?
There will be a prize for the balloon that travels the furthest by the end of the race on the 21st May at 12pm, plus prizes for the best message or best balloon.
Why not race against your friends and family. Whose balloon will travel the furthest?!
