On Sunday 30th January we had a brilliant start to our Climate Action journey. We loved meeting so many of you at our first forum, learning about the issues, deciding what we could do to help and making our own pledges to fight Climate Change.
Even if you weren’t able to join in, take a look at the photos from the day and links to the activities, articles and films we used, plus some more useful information, and get involved, it’s never too late!
We saw how Adam from Blue Peter started making green changes to his daily routine.
We found out about Green House gases and talked about how we travel affects the environment.
Sarah and her daughter Ellie came to tell us all about the Walking Bus at their school. Did you know it’s been running for 17 years!
We had fun playing the Recycling Game, Right Stuff, Right Bin and finding out about the Terracyle scheme for plastic that can’t go in the recycling.
We discussed all these ideas, and used our log books to record our thoughts and make our Climate Change Pledges.
